Member Onboarding
Follow the member onboarding path from your welcome email through vault setup, first use, and community access.
01
Start With Access
- Open the welcome email you receive after becoming a member and use it as your path into the guides section.
- During beta, if you are offered concierge onboarding, book a session with the onboarding specialist.
- Accept your invite to the private Discord group so you have a direct line to the member community.
02
Set Up Your Access
- Create a GitHub profile if you do not already have one.
- Email us your GitHub username so we can connect you to the vault resources.
- Once you receive access to the vault template, clone the repository and send us the URL of your cloned repo.
- Add our username, desireco, to the members on the cloned repository.
03
Get Obsidian Running
- Set up the Git plugin and connect the vault in Obsidian.
- Set up the vault on your mobile device if you want access on the go.
- Adjust the vault structure, plugins, and layout to fit your preferences once the base setup is working.
04
Create First Signal
- Write your first journal entry so the sidekick has real context to work with.
- Send an email to [email protected] and use it as your first intentional interaction.
- Ask [email protected] for a few ideas once your vault is in place.
05
Join The Community
- Join Discord if you have not already accepted the invite.
- Say hi in the private group so the team and other members know you are in.
- Use the guides section as your ongoing reference as you settle into your workflow.
